Football afternoon with Lowca

After a string of sporting events being cancelled on us, we took matters into our own hands this week, and invited Lowca Primary School over for a series of football matches. 

We had four games in total, with our Year 3/4 girls, Y3/4 boys, Y5/6 girls and Y5/6 boys playing superbly;  our children were excellent across the afternoon, with some great goals scored along with some tasty challenges and good passing work.  We won each game, and our children represented the school brilliantly, showing good sportsmanship throughout.  A handful of our players even joined Lowca's teams temporarily in order to balance the matches up.   

Finally, a word has to go to Lowca's Y5/6 goalkeeper, who had an amazing game, making several superb saves.
