Please note that our Curriculum is planned on a two-yearly cycle. In 2025-26, we are teaching the Year A curriculum, and we'll be back on Year B in 2026-27.

Phonics

We use the Read, Write Inc phonics scheme to help support the children's development of early literacy skills, and then the Read, Write Inc spelling scheme from Year 2 onwards to build on each child's early success.  

Our teaching of literacy skills is supported by our fantastic school library, and our use of Reading Plus - both of which help our children to become motivated, independent readers.

Power Maths

We use the Power Maths scheme through school to support the children's learning in mathematics.
