New Goals!

Our old goalposts have finally been retired. They were looking a bit worse for wear, which is understandable after getting so much use in recent years.  As well as being used for PE lessons and after-school football clubs, they have been on the field at lunchtimes throughout most of the year too. 

We now have a lovely new set, which we're already on with using.  Children from Year 4 helped Mr Peacock build them this week, reading the instructions carefully and solving several puzzles when it looked like pieces didn't quite fit right.  Mr P's after-school football club were the first to use them, with several fantastic goals scored in a thrilling 6-6 game. We look forward to hundreds and thousands of goals being scored in them over the coming months and years!
